Personally, I am amazed at what Apple has accomplished. They have created a cult following. They sold unheard of and record numbers of devices when they first launched the first generation of iPhone back in 2007. The numbers they are selling now makes those records look puny in comparison. The company has become one of the world's most recognizable brands and one of the largest multinational corporations in the world. What's remarkable is not that the phenomenon is restricted to North America, but rather 100 countries worldwide are importing this product. Many speculated that Apple would see darker days with the passing of Steve Jobs - so far that hasn't been the case. As long as Apple continues to innovate (something RIM was unsuccessful at), continues to pump money into Research and Development, their stock price will continue to soar. Lastly, I don't personally have an iPhone 5 (maybe a Christmas gift I could ask for?), but have tested out friends'. What's pretty interesting about all this is that there are not a ton of major differences between the 5 and previous versions, but yet they're flying off the shelves. Obviously, it's a testamant to the marketing and branding that accompanies this product. If you haven't yet seen all the features of the phone of if you want to see ONE HECK of a marketing job by the people at Apple, check out this video. SOOOO, what do you guys think about this product and the future of Apple?
A heck of marketing job by Apple...wow...who wouldn't want one after this?!?!
